I have been a Dual Skilled Electro Mechanical Maintainance Engineer for over 30 years, working at Britvic Soft Drinks, Kettle Chips, Bernard Matthews, Tulip International and Broadland Wineries. Working in the high risk and low risk food areas, the equipment I have worked on was Multivac and Tiromat/CFS thermoformers. I also worked on Thurne polyslicers, MSI slicers, Weber slicers, metal detectors, checkweighers, X ray machines conveyor systems, labellers systems and box makers. In the low risk area I worked on Sydelman bowlchoppers, Wolfking mixers and emulsifiers, bin hoists, Beldom injectors, Polyclippers and product transfer conveyors.

I also carried out electrical testing and inspection of 3 phase / single phase distribution systems. Electrical installation of new circuits for equipment within commercial properties & factories, routine servicing of the installation and equipment, TPM projects and breakdown response.

Broadland Wineries I was working in a bottling plant maintaining bottle washing, filling and labelling equipment. Britvic I worked on on Sipa and SIG blow molding machines, air conveyors, fillers, cappers and conveying systems.

Unilever, provided engineering breakdown cover whilst site engineers on holidays.

Bernard Matthews. Set up 4 lines with conveyors, bag sealers, heat tunnels and metal detectors for their Christmas Crowns season. Worked 4 on 4 off shift pattern to provide engineering cover for 8 weeks.

8 months at Kettle Foods, Norwich. Working on TNA baggers, Endoline case makers/sealers, BPA case packers and various manufacturers conveyor systems.
